Approvals procedures
The concept of approvals workflow is an essential element in the establishment of a system of e-procurement. Approvals workflow takes the place of a manual practice, often based on people who sign things off, and determined by force of habit. In addition, this approvals workflow will, with the issuing of the catalogue, be the main experience the user has of the system. From this, its importance in terms of acceptance of the system by users is clear, but also in the workload involved in putting in place the system if one tries to reproduce in the e-procurement system all the practices of the existing systems.
